Replace the System — Starting Here
אור לגויים
Eight families control your rent, your gas, your food, your phone bill, your bank, and the media that tells you this is normal. The October 2026 election is a window. Here is what replacing it actually looks like.

26th Knesset — Neither bloc has a majority
The deadlock is not a problem. It is the opening. Every piece of Israeli politics that cannot move right now moves when there is a third economic force that voters from every bloc already belong to.

👨👩👧
Young Family
Rent ₪7K+ · Can't save
You earn ₪18-24K combined and still can't save for a deposit. The average Tel Aviv apartment costs 40-50 annual salaries. This is not bad luck — Azrieli controls commercial real estate, banks control mortgage rates, and the Israel Land Authority controls zoning. All three are captured. The cooperative housing model exists and is legal. It just hasn't been built at scale because it threatens three of the 8 families simultaneously.
Your single demand: The Cooperative Housing Act — remove bureaucratic barriers to housing cooperative formation. Germany did it. 60% of Berlin rental housing is cooperative. Rents are 40% below market.
🔱
חרדי / Haredi
Lowest income · Highest % extracted
Haredi households have lower average incomes — which means the 8 families extract a higher percentage from your community than from any other group in Israel. You pay the same Shufersal prices, the same Harel pension fees, the same Cellcom bills. Aryeh Deri negotiates yeshiva funding for the coalition while your family pays 65%+ of income to the oligopoly. The cooperative model — lower food prices, capped pension fees — helps your community more than any other.
The Torah says: "לא תגזול" — do not steal. ICL pays 5% on your Dead Sea. Harel takes 20% of your pension. Call it what it is. Cooperative ownership is the economic commandment in action.
🕌
ערבי / Arab Israeli
Same costs · Less income · No political seat
You pay the same Shufersal, Harel, Hapoalim, and Cellcom as every Jewish Israeli — but average Arab household income is 30-40% lower, so the % extracted is even higher. You are doubly taxed: once by the oligopoly, once by systematic underfunding of Arab municipalities. The 8 families do not discriminate by religion when they extract. The cooperative model doesn't require political agreement — joint economic ownership works whether or not you agree on anything else.
A cooperative supermarket in Haifa, Lod, or Acre — Arab and Jewish co-owners, same prices, no extraction — is possible this year. It requires 500 founding members. It does not require a peace agreement.
✡️
דתי-לאומי
Security-focused · But economy hurts you too
You support the settlement enterprise — but most settlers moved to the West Bank because Tel Aviv was unaffordable, not because of ideology. The same housing monopoly that pushed you to the West Bank is the reason your children may not afford to live near you either. Ben-Gvir and Smotrich talk about security while the 8 families continue to extract from your family every month. The prophets — Amos, Isaiah — named exactly this: the powerful taking the land and houses of the people. This is a question of Jewish values, not just politics.
Cooperative housing in the Negev and Galilee — inside the Green Line — would cost 40% less than market. You could live here. The choice between ideology and affordability is one the oligopoly created on purpose.
👴
Pensioner / גמלאי
1% fee · 20% of retirement stolen
You worked 40 years. Harel has been taking 1%+ of your retirement savings every year for the entire career. On ₪1M in lifetime savings, 1%/year over 40 years compounds to approximately ₪220,000 gone in management fees — for a service US index funds provide for ₪300. You are not poor because you didn't save. You are poor because a private company legally skimmed your life savings with government permission. The Pension Justice Act caps this at 0.3%. That's 8 years of contributions returned to you.
The Pension Justice Act: one law. Cap management fees at 0.3%. Returns ₪3-5B/year to Israeli workers. Already drafted. Needs political pressure to pass.
💻
Tech Worker
Highest earner · Still can't buy in TLV
You earn ₪30-60K/month — top 5% of Israeli incomes. You still cannot buy in Tel Aviv without a parental gift or 15 years of saving. A ₪4M apartment at current mortgage rates requires ₪2.5M income over 20 years to finance. This is the system telling you even its winners cannot escape extraction. Meanwhile, the tech sector is the primary source of foreign currency into Israel — and receives none of the regulatory protection given to the 8 families' sectors. You build the value. Others capture it.
Tech unions, cooperative software studios, and cooperative housing development: the same engineering thinking applied to institutional design. You have the skills to build the alternative. The cooperative model needs product people, not just activists.

The arithmetic no one shows you
Average Israeli household income: roughly ₪22,000/month. Rent or mortgage: ₪6,500-8,000. Food: ₪3,000-4,000. Banking fees and insurance: ₪800-1,200. Telecoms: ₪400-600. Fuel and energy: ₪300-500. Total flowing through sectors controlled by 8 families: approximately ₪11,000-14,300 per month. 50-65% of what you earn.
This is not a coincidence. Eight families built interlocking monopolies across every sector you cannot avoid — housing, food, banking, energy, phones — then used political donations to ensure the laws protecting those monopolies stayed in place. Every Israeli, regardless of whether they vote Likud or Meretz, Shas or Hadash, pays this toll every month.

Ofer Brothers (Idan + Eyal)
Israel Corporation · ICL · Zim · Bazan
~$15B
▾
The Ofer family controls Israel Corporation — the largest holding company in Israel. Inside it: ICL (Israel Chemicals Ltd), which extracts potash and phosphates from the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea belongs to every Israeli. ICL pays a royalty of 5% — one of the lowest mineral extraction rates in the world. The rest of what should be national wealth flows to private shareholders.
They also control Bazan (Oil Refineries Ltd) — near-monopoly on domestic fuel refining. Every liter of fuel in Israel passes through a Bazan refinery. And Zim Integrated Shipping, which captured wartime shipping premiums while remaining privately held. The family sits across the entire supply chain of Israeli energy and resources.

Yitzhak Tshuva
Delek Group · Leviathan Gas · Real Estate
~$4B

Tshuva paid roughly $11 million for exploration licenses that became a $70 billion asset: the Leviathan and Tamar natural gas fields in Israel's Mediterranean waters. The gas in Israel's seabed belongs to all Israelis. The 2015 "Gas Framework" deal — approved by the Netanyahu government after intense lobbying — gave Tshuva's Delek Group development rights and export rights that critics said drastically undervalued the national resource. The Supreme Court initially blocked it; a stability clause was passed limiting judicial review.
You pay Tshuva every month on your electricity bill for gas from your own national waters. This is the Israeli version of the petrodollar: national resource, private owner, political protection, permanent extraction.

Bank Hapoalim — Israel's largest bank — was privatized in 1996 and sold to the Arison family at below-market value following a lobbying campaign. It now controls ₪600B+ in assets and sets mortgage rates, credit card fees, and business lending terms for the entire Israeli economy with minimal competitive pressure. Three banks (Hapoalim, Leumi, Discount) control ~80% of Israeli household credit. When three entities control 80% of credit, they do not compete — they coordinate by market structure.

The Azrieli Group dominates Israeli commercial real estate: Azrieli Centers in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Beer Sheva, Modiin, Rehovot, Hadera, and others. When you shop in almost any major Israeli mall, your purchase includes retailer rent paid to Azrieli — typically 8-15% of revenue. Retailers pass this directly to prices. Every Israeli consumer pays the Azrieli rent without seeing the line item. The family also holds residential development rights, meaning they profit from both the housing you live in and the stores where you shop.

The Strauss Group controls Elite coffee (70%+ of Israeli coffee market), Sabra hummus (global, via PepsiCo JV), Strauss Water (home filtration), Max Brenner, and multiple dairy and packaged food brands. The average Israeli household buys Strauss products multiple times per week — often without knowing all these brands belong to one family.
Food concentration in Israel means the family that owns the most-consumed coffee brand also negotiates shelf space with the family that owns the biggest supermarket chain. Pricing is set between concentrated sellers and concentrated retailers with no real market between them.

Controls what Israelis read
▾
The Mozes family owns Yedioth Ahronoth (largest-circulation Israeli newspaper) and Ynet (most-visited Israeli news website). This is not just economic power — it is the power to determine what Israelis believe is economically possible. Stories about concentrated ownership, the gas deal, pension fee structures, and housing policy receive less investigative coverage in outlets owned by the families who benefit from those arrangements.
In 2017, recordings surfaced of alleged discussions between Netanyahu and Arnon Mozes about trading favorable coverage for regulatory protection of the Mozes media empire (Case 2000 — went to trial). The mechanism was made public: media ownership and political coverage are directly negotiable assets.

Harel is Israel's largest insurance and pension management company. The pension system was privatized in 2004 — Israeli workers' mandatory retirement contributions now flow to private managers like Harel. Harel charges ~1%/year in management fees. On a 40-year career of savings, 1%/year compounds to absorb 20-25% of total retirement funds. That is not a service fee — it is a tax on your entire working life collected by a private owner. Index funds in the US charge 0.03% for the same function. Harel charges 35x more.

The Corruption Trail — Money → Access → Protection → Extraction

The 3 Laws — One Election Cycle, Three Demands
Every successful movement has a specific legislative ask. MLK's was the Voting Rights Act. Gandhi's was salt deregulation. Ours is three laws — each one specific, already drafted in outline, and already supported by majorities in polling when explained clearly. These are the non-negotiable conditions before any vote in October 2026.
1
Cooperative Housing Act
Remove the bureaucratic and legal barriers that currently make housing cooperative formation in Israel take 7-10 years and ₪500K in legal fees. Mandate Israel Land Authority to allocate 20% of all new land releases to cooperative housing. Streamline cooperative registration under a new cooperative housing law modeled on German Baugruppe. Result: first cooperative housing projects break ground within 18 months of passage.
Projected impact: 30-40% reduction in cooperative housing costs vs. private developer market
2
Gas Sovereignty Act
Set minimum effective royalty rate on Leviathan and Tamar gas extraction at 60% (up from effective ~40% after deductions). Establish a Citizens' Gas Trust — every Israeli citizen, Jewish and Arab, receives an annual dividend from national gas revenues. Norway model, adapted for Israel. Tshuva's Delek Group retains operational rights; Israel reclaims the revenue from Israeli waters.
Projected revenue: ₪8-12B/yr → ₪500-800/yr per citizen dividend
3
Pension Justice Act
Cap pension management fees at 0.3% annually (down from current average of 1.05%). Mandate that pension funds offer a low-cost index option competitive with global standards. Require pension fund boards to include elected worker representatives with binding vote on asset allocation. The 0.75% difference, compounded over 40 years, equals 8 years of contributions returned to every Israeli worker.
Returns ₪3-5B/yr to workers · Harel and Migdal restructure or lose market share
The 5 Pillars — What Replaces The System
Not reform. Not regulation. Replacement — building the parallel infrastructure until the old system becomes irrelevant. Each pillar is operational, not theoretical.
Pillar 1
Cooperative Ownership
Workers and creators own the means. 85% of revenue goes directly to the people who made it — not to shareholders. 1 member = 1 vote regardless of capital invested. Earned equity proportional to contribution, not to who had money first. Applied to: music/creative work, housing, food retail, financial services.

Register first Israeli housing cooperative under cooperative law
Cooperative supermarket pilot: 500 founding members, one mixed neighborhood
Pillar 2
Open Money / Doubloon
Money that decays at 6%/year cannot be hoarded into land banking or financial speculation. Demurrage currency forces circulation — velocity stays high, housing stops being an investment vehicle. The WIR Bank in Switzerland has operated on this principle since 1934. Cooperative credit replaces bank oligopoly credit.
Doubloon wallet: launch within Shapeless cooperative for founding creators
Cooperative credit line for member housing deposits
Merchant acceptance layer: local businesses that accept Doubloon alongside shekel
Pillar 3
Direct Democracy
The current system gives you one vote every 4 years to choose between parties that both protect the 8 families. Direct democracy means citizens vote on specific economic decisions — gas royalty rates, pension fee caps, housing cooperative zoning — not just on which representative to trust with all decisions. Cooperative governance is the training ground.
All 1,000 founding members vote on every major platform decision
Public petition for Knesset referendum on gas field royalties (200K signatures needed)
City council direct-democracy pilot in one municipality
Pillar 4
Resource Sovereignty
The Dead Sea, the gas fields, the Mediterranean waters — belong to all Israelis. Not to two families. 60%+ windfall profit tax on all natural resource extraction, with revenues going to a Sovereign Wealth Fund. Norway's model: Equinor (state company) + $1.4T fund = every Norwegian citizen benefits from national resources. Israel has the same gas wealth and has given most of it to private owners.
Legislate 60% minimum effective rate on gas extraction (vs. ~52% nominal now)
Establish Israeli Sovereign Wealth Fund — ₪500/year dividend per citizen from gas revenues
Restore Dead Sea mineral royalty to global standard: 12-18%, not 5%
Pillar 5
Mesh Network / Compute Independence
The Mozes family controls what you read. Social media algorithms owned by US tech monopolies control what you see. Shapeless Terminal is the hardware layer: a physical device hosting creative tools, cooperative wallet, governance vote, and mesh network that no single owner can control. Israel's startup ecosystem can build this. The Terminal is the infrastructure that makes the other 4 pillars unconfiscatable.

Unions + The Commons — Counter-Monopoly From Below
The 8 families built monopolies by owning the supply side. The counter-move is organizing the demand side into a counter-monopoly large enough to negotiate, compete, and eventually replace. This is not theory — the Mondragon Corporation (Spain), the UK Co-op Group, and the Swiss WIR Bank all did this. Israel's Histadrut used to run actual enterprises. It can again.
What "The Commons" Actually Means
A common is a resource that belongs to everyone and is governed by everyone — not owned by a private family, not managed by a state bureaucracy. The Dead Sea is a commons. The gas fields in Israeli waters are a commons. The radio spectrum is a commons. The land of Israel is a commons. Every time a government sold these to a private family, it converted a commons into an extraction machine.
Reclaiming the commons doesn't require revolution. It requires: (1) naming the commons as commons in law, (2) establishing a governing body with citizen representation, (3) taking revenues as a citizen dividend. Norway did this with oil in 1969. It now has a $1.4 trillion sovereign wealth fund. Israel has the same resources and gave most of them to two families.
Reclaim the Histadrut
Israel's main labor union (Histadrut) had 700,000+ members and once ran its own bank (Bank Hapoalim), construction company, and health fund. All were privatized in the 1990s — sold to the families. The union still exists with 800K+ members. The mandate to organize cooperative enterprises has never been removed from its charter. A Histadrut-backed cooperative supermarket chain would have immediate negotiating power with every food supplier in Israel.
Petition: Histadrut cooperative enterprise mandate — reactivate
Worker referendum: should Histadrut invest pension fund in cooperative housing?
Consumer Cooperative — 100K Pledge
The UK Co-op Group started as 28 workers in 1844 buying food collectively to get wholesale prices. Today it has 1.3 million members and competes directly with Tesco. 100,000 Israeli households pledging to shift 30% of food spending to a cooperative supplier gives that cooperative more negotiating power than most retailers in the country. The pledge is free. The buying cooperative follows when the numbers are there.
shapelessworld.org/pledge → include food coop option
Map existing cooperative food suppliers (Triangle, Galilee, kibbutz sector)
Sector Unions → Cooperative Arms
Every major sector has a union. Every union can create a cooperative arm that competes with the oligopoly in the same sector. Mondragon (Spain) is a $12B worker-cooperative conglomerate that started as a single vocational school in 1956. The pattern: sector union → cooperative enterprise → credit union → next sector. Tech workers in Tel Aviv, nurses in public hospitals, teachers — each sector union can initiate a cooperative in its sector.
Tech sector: register cooperative software studio (counter to monopoly clients)
Healthcare workers: cooperative clinic — Arabic and Hebrew, mixed city pilot
Teachers: cooperative tutoring platform (counter to expensive private tutoring industry)
Pension Fund Redirect
Israeli workers' pension funds — managed by Harel, Migdal, and others — collectively hold hundreds of billions of shekels. Workers have the right to demand their pension funds invest in affordable housing cooperatives rather than in the same real estate investment trusts that are driving up their own rents. The contradiction — workers' savings funding the landlords charging them — is structural. Break it by directing investment.
Draft resolution: pension funds must offer cooperative housing allocation option
Worker councils vote on fund allocation — democratic pension governance
Gas Field Citizens' Trust
The Leviathan and Tamar gas fields sit in Israeli waters. They belong to all Israelis by any reasonable moral standard. A Citizens' Gas Trust — modeled on Alaska's Permanent Fund Dividend ($1,312/year per Alaskan resident from oil revenues) — would pay every Israeli citizen a dividend from gas extraction revenues. The legal pathway: a direct democracy referendum petition (200K signatures needed for Knesset consideration) on the royalty rate and dividend structure.
200K signature petition for gas referendum — Knesset mandatory consideration
Citizens' Gas Trust bill — draft legislation already exists in outline
Arab-Jewish Economic Union
The 8 families extract equally from Jewish and Arab Israelis. The political system uses division to prevent the economic coalition that would challenge this. An Arab-Jewish economic union — joint cooperative membership, shared pension advocacy, combined consumer pledge — is the same structure as every successful labor movement in history. Jewish workers and Arab workers facing the same landlord, the same bank fees, the same food prices: this is the actual starting point for unity. Not culture. Not security. Economics.
Standing Together + Shapeless cooperative: joint membership launch
Mixed-city cooperative: Haifa, Lod, Acre — bilingual governance

Movements That Won — What They Did Differently
Every successful popular movement in history did the same four things: named a specific enemy, made one clear demand, used economic leverage, and built across divides. Here is the blueprint — and where Israel's moment maps onto it.
🇮🇸 Iceland 2008 — Pots & Pans Revolution
Bankers collapsed the economy. Citizens literally banged pots outside parliament every Saturday. PM resigned in 90 days. Bankers jailed. Constitution rewritten by crowdsourcing. Small country, high information density, specific named criminals.
→ Most relevant to Israel. Same scale. Same oligarchy structure.
✊ MLK / Birmingham 1963
Specific city, specific injustice, specific target (Bull Connor, not "racism"). Bus boycott = economic leverage. Media images of fire hoses = visible injustice. Coalition across Black and Jewish communities. Civil Rights Act passed 14 months after Birmingham.
→ The 3D map IS the fire hose image. It makes invisible extraction visible.
🧂 Gandhi Salt March 1930
British taxed salt — the one thing every Indian used equally, poor and rich. Gandhi walked 240 miles to the sea to make salt illegally. The specific absurdity of the injustice did the organizing. Dead Sea minerals are Israel's salt. ICL pays 5%. Every Israeli can see this is wrong.
→ One specific absurdity that needs no explanation = organizing catalyst.
🏭 Solidarity, Poland 1980
Started as a shipyard workers' strike. Became a 10 million member independent union — in a Soviet-controlled country. The organizing structure was economic (union) not political (party). Political change followed economic organization, not the reverse. Eleven years later, the Soviet empire fell.
→ Histadrut cooperative enterprise = Solidarity model. Economy first, politics follows.
The Common Thread
Name the specific injustice (not "the system" — ICL pays 5% royalty on your Dead Sea). One clear demand (not "change everything" — the 3 Laws). Economic leverage (not just marching — the consumer cooperative pledge). Cross-coalition (not just your tribe — Arab and Jewish co-owners of the same cooperative). Every movement that won did all four simultaneously. Every movement that failed did fewer than four.

Revenue From the Top — What The Money Funds
Israel abolished inheritance tax in 1981 — the only OECD country to do so permanently. The families have had 45 years of untaxed compounding. These are not radical proposals. Every one has precedent in multiple OECD countries. Combined: ₪20-33B/year. That is a ₪500+/month benefit per Israeli household in housing, healthcare, or citizen dividend.
Restore Inheritance Tax
Israel is the only OECD country to have abolished inheritance tax and kept it abolished. 8 families have compounded untaxed wealth for 45 years. Proposal: 20% on estates above ₪10M, 40% above ₪50M. Full exemption for family home up to ₪3M. Prevents dynasties from compounding forever.

Pension Fee Cap at 0.3%
Current average: 1.05%/year. The difference between 1.05% and 0.3% over 40 years is approximately 20% of total retirement savings — the equivalent of 8 years of contributions lost to management fees. US index funds charge 0.03%. Harel charges 35x more for the same function. Cap is the policy.

Dead Sea Mineral Royalty — Restore to Global Standard
ICL currently pays 5% royalty on Dead Sea mineral extraction. Global standard for minerals on national land: 12-18%. Israel's Dead Sea is one of the most mineral-rich bodies of water on Earth. The difference between 5% and 15% — annually, on ICL's ₪25B+ revenue — is approximately ₪2.5B going to public benefit instead of Ofer family shareholders.

Kill The Capture Mechanism — Structural Rules
Taxing the rich is not enough if they can buy back the law next election. These six structural rules remove the mechanism of capture — not just the current operators. Different politicians in power, same corruption, if the architecture stays.
Anti-Revolving Door: 5-Year Cooling Period
5 years between any regulatory role and the regulated industry. Currently: Israeli energy regulators move directly to gas company boards. Finance Ministry officials move to banks. This is not corruption — it is the legal architecture of capture. Remove the architecture.
Total Ban on Private Political Donations
All parties funded by public money only. No corporate donations. No family donations above ₪5,000/year per individual. The Tshuva gas deal connection, the Mozes Case 2000 recordings — these are symptoms of private money in politics. Remove the money, remove the mechanism.
Term Limits: 2 Terms / 8 Years Maximum
No elected position — Knesset member, minister, prime minister — held more than 8 years. Netanyahu has served 16+ years. The revolving door between political power and private wealth requires long time horizons. Term limits break the accumulation timeline.
Real-Time Contract Transparency
All government contracts above ₪500K published in real-time — bidding process, competing bids, outcome, contractor ownership chain. ₪220B+ in government contracts per year, majority without real competitive bidding. Transparency is the prerequisite for everything else.
Media Ownership Separation Law
No individual or family may own both a major media outlet and a business regulated by government. The Mozes family cannot own Yedioth Ahronoth and entities needing government licensing. The conflict of interest is structural — separate it structurally.
Worker Ownership Mandate
Any company employing 500+ people in Israel must offer workers the right to purchase up to 20% cooperative equity at fair valuation within 5 years. Not mandatory purchase — mandatory offer. Workers who decline keep their jobs. Workers who buy become co-owners.
The Unity Ladder — Jews and Arabs, Together, Then Gaza
21% of Israeli citizens are Arab. Same rent, food prices, phone bills, bank fees — same 8 families extracting from both. The political divide is real. The economic reality is identical. Political unity is not the starting point. Economic co-ownership is.

Rung 1: Shared Economic Fact (Now)
Don't start with politics. Start with arithmetic. A Jewish Israeli nurse in Petah Tikva and an Arab Israeli doctor in Nazareth pay the same Shufersal prices, the same Harel insurance, the same Hapoalim fees. A cooperative supermarket in a mixed city — Haifa, Lod, Acre — serves both communities simultaneously without requiring any political agreement. The economic argument for cooperation does not require any political agreement about anything else.
🤝
Rung 2: Cooperative Membership (Month 1-3)
Shapeless cooperative: identical membership for Jewish and Arab creators from Day 1. Same deal — 85% revenue, 1 vote, earned equity. Founding creators include Arab musicians, artists, and educators as genuine founding partners with real stakes. Partner with Nas Academy (Nuseir Yassin — Palestinian-Israeli, 20M+ followers) and Standing Together (Arab-Jewish organizing) from week one. The cooperative structure makes joint ownership visible and real.
🏘️
Rung 3: Cooperative Housing in Mixed Cities (Month 3-12)
Haifa, Lod, Acre, Jaffa — already mixed cities. A housing cooperative in one of these: Arab and Jewish founding members, democratic rent-setting, no-profit structure. The German Baugruppe model: members buy shares in the cooperative instead of paying rent to a private landlord. This is the first economic institution in Israel designed from the beginning to be Arab-Jewish owned and governed. Not integration forced from above — cooperation built from shared financial interest.
📰
Rung 4: Cooperative Media — Hebrew and Arabic Equally (Month 6-18)
The 8 Families map published in Hebrew and Arabic simultaneously. Arabic-language investigative journalism about ownership concentration is systematically underfunded. A cooperative media organization — reader-funded, journalist-governed, bilingual from day one — breaks the Mozes family narrative monopoly while building the information infrastructure for Arab-Jewish solidarity. 972 Magazine is the model: already independent, already bilingual in spirit. Scale it, fund it cooperatively.
🗳️
Rung 5: Political Convergence — After the Economic Base Exists (2027+)
The political coalition follows the economic one — not the reverse. When 10,000 Arab and Jewish Israelis are co-owners of the same cooperative platform, co-tenants in the same cooperative housing, and co-readers of the same cooperative media — the political question changes. It stops being "can you trust them?" and becomes "can you afford to exclude people who are your co-owners?" The opposition bloc's refusal to work with Arab parties becomes incoherent when their own constituents are already in an economic cooperative with Arab Israelis.
🌊
Rung 6: Gaza Bridge — After the Social Movement Takes Hold
Not on the October 2026 timeline — but the horizon. The West Bank already has 362 garment factories in Nablus alone, agricultural cooperatives, and tech workers. After cooperative infrastructure exists inside Israel — after the political conversation has shifted — the model extends across the Green Line. A Palestinian cooperative selling through Shapeless earns 85% of revenue and holds a vote. An economic relationship before a political settlement. Gaza reconstruction, when it comes, follows the same model: cooperative ownership of economic infrastructure, not contractor-extracted charity.

אור לגויים
Isaiah 49:6 · Light Unto The Nations
Israel is the proof of concept not because it is simple — it is the most complicated test environment on Earth. That is exactly why success here is proof. If the cooperative model works in a country with this political deadlock, this level of economic concentration, this history of conflict, and this demographic complexity — it works everywhere.
Nine million people. The highest startup density on Earth. A documented history of mass mobilization (500,000 in the streets in 2011 — 6% of the entire population). A living example of 8-family oligarchy at national scale. An election on October 27, 2026. All of it simultaneously.
If by October 27 there are 1,000 Jewish and Arab founding creators on the same cooperative platform, one housing cooperative registered, the 8 Families map circulating in Hebrew and Arabic, and the Cooperative Pledge signed by at least two parties — the blueprint exports. To the US, to Ghana, to Brazil, to everywhere the same machine operates. That is what אור לגויים means in 2026: not a light from above, but a working system that shows the rest of the world it is possible.
The Shapeless App Is the Tool
The J14 protest (2011) put 500,000 people in the streets — 6% of the entire population — and nothing structurally changed. Because there was no alternative to move into. Only the demand that the existing system fix itself. This time, the alternative is already being built.
The Shapeless app at shapeless.love is the cooperative operating system: creator wallets, governance voting, peer-to-peer income without taking a cut, the Doubloon cooperative currency with demurrage built in, and a MeshNet layer for infrastructure independence. It is not an app waiting for the movement. It is the movement's economic infrastructure, available right now. Every founding creator who joins before October 27 is a proof point. Every vote cast inside the cooperative governance is a rehearsal for the direct democracy we are building outside it.
"The J14 protest put 500,000 people in the streets and nothing structurally changed — because there was no alternative to move into. This time, the alternative is built before the protest. The cooperative economy is the destination, not just the complaint."
