Shapeless Terminals

The Revolution
Needs a Local Headquarters

A Terminal is the physical, on-the-ground hub for Shapeless in your city. Part community center. Part logistics operation. Part local DAO branch.

Start a Terminal in Your City
Structure
Three Tiers. One Network.
Terminals are organized geographically — city, country, global. Each tier reports upward, earns revenue locally, and votes in the DAO. All transparent. All on the ledger.
🏘️
City Terminal
Your neighbourhood

Manages local artists, venues, and events. Handles logistics on the ground. Earns 15% of every event in its territory. Governed by local members who vote in the DAO.

🗺️
Country Terminal
National layer

Coordinates city terminals. Negotiates national Union deals with suppliers. Represents the country in global governance. Maintains the national DAO NGO (non-profit arm).

🌍
Global Terminal
Worldwide

The tech partner and protocol layer. Receives reports from all country terminals. Sets platform standards. Manages ShapelessNet infrastructure. All decisions voted by the full DAO.

People
Every Terminal Has Four Roles
These are elected, on-ledger positions. Not employees — representatives accountable to the community.

Terminal Lead

Overall accountability. Signs B2B contracts. Monthly report to global DAO. Must be a community member ≥6 months, elected by local members.

Logistics Lead

Manages the venue network. Handles event logistics — stage plans, crew, load-in. Coordinates with Union-deal suppliers at terminal level.

Tech Lead

Deploys companion nodes in the region. Manages ShapelessNet mesh. Coordinates with the global tech team on platform issues and local streaming infrastructure.

DAO Delegate

Votes on global proposals for the terminal. Submits regional proposals (Union deals, policy changes). Runs monthly local governance meetings.

Economics
How the Money Flows
Every transaction has a transparent split. Your terminal earns on every event it runs. Shapeless's split engine handles it automatically — no accounting needed.
Event Ticket Sale
70%→ Artists (per DAO-set rules)
15%→ Your Terminal Treasury
10%→ Operations (venue, crew, processing)
5%→ Global DAO (builds the platform)
Union Deal Commission (when a supplier pays for access to your local fleet)
50%→ Global DAO
30%→ Your Terminal (you negotiated it)
20%→ Platform Reserve
Shapeless Tools
What Shapeless Gives Your Terminal
You don't build this alone. Shapeless is the coordination layer — agents, cloud, cooperative ownership tools — so your terminal can focus on people, not software.

Terminals Forming Now
The first wave of terminals is forming across the Middle East and Europe. Each one starts with a Terminal Lead, a venue network of 5–10 spaces, and a local member vote.

How to Start a Terminal
You don't need permission. You need people. Here's the process:
1

Find 5 founding members

A Terminal needs a minimum viable team: someone who knows events, someone who knows people, someone who knows tech, someone who can talk to venues. You can be two of those things.

2

Map your venue network

Identify 5–10 spaces in your city willing to work cooperatively: clubs, community halls, outdoor spaces, rooftops. These become the backbone of your terminal's logistics capacity.

3

Submit your terminal application

The global DAO reviews applications. What you need: your founding team, your venue list, and a short statement of your city's music/arts scene and why cooperative ownership matters there.

4

Deploy a companion node

Your Tech Lead sets up a ShapelessNet companion node — a small device that joins the mesh network and earns Doubloons by contributing compute and connectivity to the colony. Your terminal is now on the grid.

5

Run your first event

Even if it's small. One show, one venue, one night. The split engine pays automatically. Your treasury gets its 15%. Your artists get paid instantly. The DAO logs it. You're operational.

6

Negotiate your first Union deal

With the global DAO's backing, approach a local supplier — sound hire, lighting, venue chain — with a collective deal. Your terminal represents all Shapeless artists in your city. That's leverage they can't ignore.

Start a Terminal

If you have 5 people and a city, you have everything you need to begin. The Shapeless network provides the rest — AI coordination, the finance layer, Union deals, ShapelessNet infrastructure.
